RA in mind

How RA affects you emotionally

Every person experiences ups and downs. Sometimes those highs and lows are directly connected to an event (Wow, I just got promoted!). And other times, they just come and go with no real explanation.

For example, maybe you're feeling sad or down because the signs and symptoms of RA are acting up, especially the pain and fatigue, and it's hard to think about anything else.

Taking a close look at your emotions and how they change day to day according to how you're feeling is a good first step. Maybe even jot down some of your thoughts. Then share these feelings with your healthcare professional. Together, you can look for the best way to manage your disease.
